We are looking for experienced Platers. No experience? No problem…we will train you!


Under general supervision performs operations in an established sequence for the plating of reel-to-reel bandoliered product. This includes such activities as cleaning, rinsing, drying, masking, and plating to impart the desired coating at the required thickness. Proceeds on standard work with minimum direction, with instructions and guidance provided on new work, work involving variables, or work that may encounter processing difficulties.

Essential Duties:

-Measures and mixes required plating or cleaning solutions to accomplish the required results in performing plating operations. Periodically tests solutions using appropriate testing devices and introducing additives required to keep the solutions at the proper strength, density and temperature.
-Regulates current input and plating time by control of plating line speeds to obtain the desired thickness of plate. Controls and assures that the type of materials being deposited and coated are in conformance with job specifications.
-Work is performed using customer orders, specifications, and formulas to achieve the desired results. Uses appropriate testing instruments, micrometers, calipers, x-ray equipment, etc. to assure accuracy of work being performed.
-Maintains required record keeping and clerical functions involving time, materials, quantity and quality factors involved in the plating assignment.
-Monitors operation of pumps, filters, and line drive systems to assure their proper functioning to achieve the desired results of the assignment.
-Other duties include cleaning buss bars, checking anode baskets, cleaning anode and cathode connections, and general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
-May assign, instruct and review work of Plater trainee personnel.



-1st Shift: 5:30 am–2:00 pm (Weekend shifts and overtime as necessary)

-2nd Shift: 2:00 pm –10:00 pm - This is a 7.5 hour shift, but we pay for 8 hours (paid lunch break). (Weekend shifts and overtime as necessary)

Hourly Wage Range:

-1st Shift: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour commensurate with experience.

-2nd Shift: $14.50-20.50 per hour commensurate with experience.
